Zoe Panoramas
Dir. Rodrigo Guardiola, Gabriel Cruz Rivas
Zoé Panoramas | 2016 | Mexico | 90 min.
Synopsis
To enter a world in suspension while another one carries on. Panoramas, a title borrowed from one of the band’s songs, is more a travel journal than a rockumentary. We follow the band’s extensive tour starting in Europe, continuing in South America and ending in a recording studio in the United States.
This documentary depicts topics such as creation, reconciliation, mistakes, silences, a great deal of fun and moments of contemplation allowed by spending several hours on the road. There’s constant experimentation with sound, the remembrance of painful memories and, above all, the vibrant energy of the band’s followers who help the musicians leave the exhaustion behind once they hit the stage, the moment when everything makes sense.
