Rush Hour

Dir. Luciana Kaplan

Rush Hour | 2017 | Mexico, Spain | 80 min.

Synposis

It intimately portrays the parallel stories of three characters in three of the most complex and iconic cities around the world: Mexico City, Los Angeles, and Istanbul. All three spend half their day commuting to work. Each feels they are losing something essential in their lives—something that won’t come back. As their personal struggles unfold, they can’t help but ask themselves: Is it possible to change one’s life? With an emotional lens and unprecedented access to the heart of a modest operating room in southern Madagascar, this story shows how, with limited resources, it’s possible to change the fate of more than two and a half million women rejected by society.
