Gerry Adams: a Ballymurphy man

Dir. Trisha Ziff

Gerry Adams: un hombre de Ballymurphy | 2025 | Mexico | 117 min.

Synopsis

A story of power and resistance. An intimate portrait of Gerry Adams, the Irish republican leader who went from being considered an enemy of the state to becoming one of the architects of peace in Northern Ireland. Imprisoned, censored, and wounded, Adams challenged both the media and the British authorities while leading his people from decades of conflict towards the historic Good Friday Agreement.

This film speaks to the present: in a world marked by division and violence, it offers a powerful message about the value of dialogue as a path to peace, and reminds us that refusing to forget is also a form of resistance.
